 In exploring the fierce friendship between war poets Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon in this touring production of Stephen MacDonald's intimate piece, we created a harsh, desolate wasteland, a stylised abstraction of the mental and emotional battlefield the two men still find themselves fighting on.
